July 2018 - Side Stories Poll!
Added 2018-07-08 05:19:08 +0000 UTCHello, hello! It's time for the monthly side stories poll! Naturally this one's a bit delayed since I had my break, and there's also that end of the Volume to consider...these stories will all be part of Volume 5.
I'm keeping it to three options this time. Each one is important in it's own way, but I think you'd all be happy no matter what's chosen. It's all interesting, in short.
The way I'm planning to do things now is to offer the side stories as a poll for all $5+ Patreons, and post a $10+ spoilers post that hints at what each side story might contain at the same time. It's a way to reward higher-tier pledgers, and it's not something anyone needs to up their pledge for.
You're free to debate which poll is best. I just ask that if you know what the side story contains, don't spoil it for everyone else. Just advocate strongly that 'side story ____' is the best story without going into details.
Hopefully none of that's confusing. I'm gearing up for Volume 5, and I'll try and release that small bonus-vacation side story tomorrow. Until then, vote away!
(As always, I might write a side story in regardless of whether or not it gets voted for, but then again I might not. The point of voting is knowing what and when you'll get your extra chapter. Usually at the end of the month.)

I hope letters to wistram includes replies. Dear Wizards: I have developed a huge bulbous growth on my nose. I've had it cut off a dozen times, but it keeps growing back. I have a mage friend who says it's a Tier 3 curse, probably incurred while i was dungeoning and touched some artifact. She says she can't do anything about it. Can you help me? Signed: Afraid of Mirrors Dear Afraid: Artifact based curses are a tricky business. We assume you are not in a position to simply restore whatever it was to an undisturbed state, which is the simplest solution, albeit not always a complete one. Now, it is true that we at Wistram have some really powerful members who could probably nutralize the curse, but the truth is, unless you are exceptionally wealthy, you wouldn't be able to afford them. On the other hand, we have several advanced students who are skilled at making animated constructs. You might consider just replacing your entire nose with one. AIt would only cost you a few gold, plus travel and lodging for the student. If you decide to go this route, let us know and we will put you in contact with a suitable practitioner.
