Thanks Violet (or Cayzle) for the feedback! You're right in that this is one step closer, so I might indeed change the chapter titles, if only to rework the numbering. I've never been a huge fan of calling things 'chapter 1', 'chapter 2' and so on, so the 1.00 system made sense. However, having 1.00 and 1.00 R is silly. I'll give it some thought and see what other people say. I don't know that the Wandering Inn will ever measure up to LOTR or Dickens, but I deeply appreciate the comparison. Hope you like the chapter and thanks for the comment!

2018-06-19 12:20:38 +0000 UTCPirateaba, you asked if you should change chapter titles, etc. Well, traditional pre-Internet authors would write a first draft of their work, and then revise after. Tolkien, in the Lord of the Rings, originally named Strider as "Trotter"! I'm glad he changed that! My point is, view your web serial as a first draft. View your ebook as something that's a step closer to a first edition in print. In 25 or 50 years, people who read this story will not be concerned about whether the hyperlinks work. Better that you should give them your best ideas, and not feel tied to decisions you made in your first draft. Someday, years from now, the Tales of the Wandering Inn will be a work that people enjoy in media that we cannot imagine, after the Internet evolves again and again. Do Kindle readers care now that Dickens wrote Great Expectations as a magazine serial? Do your best work, make the best choices you can, and do not worry about the medium. Just my two cents. Thanks as always for a great chapter.

2018-06-16 13:26:06 +0000 UTCDon't worry about it. Wordpress have been annoying me with some weird bugs recently. Actually, so has Patreon. Stupid websites.

2018-06-16 12:11:56 +0000 UTCI've tested it on another computer and it's worked for me. Try typing it in manually if copy + paste doesn't work. Or do the opposite if you typed it in.
