May 2018 - Side Story Poll!

Hello readers, we're coming at you LIVE once again from the writing booth. This is pirateaba, sitting in a corner typing away and pretending to be a commentator for a fictitious live broadcast that will never happen!

I'm a bit loopy today. But I just realized I've yet to put up this month's poll! And publish this month's side story, but we might see more of that tonight. I digress!

I thought today I'd share some writer secrets. Namely, I have a lot of other story ideas in my head. Tons of things I'd love to write if I wasn't writing The Wandering Inn. Some are half-formed concepts based around things I thought would be really cool, others are projects I really want to write someday. To list a few...

I want to finish my Erfworld fanfiction sequel to The Last Turn, which I've entitled The Endless Waltz. But that's not a commercially viable project, and I just don't have time to write an extra 80,000 words...

I have a cool idea for a Warhammer 40k fanfiction, despite never having finished a complete book in the series. I just like reading about the universe, okay? It was fascinating for me to find out about it, especially for how much lore it has and how relatively unheard of it seems to be, at least when compared with Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. I was never really exposed to it growing up, though...

I've never been into tabletop games that much. Never played them growing up, which I am somewhat sad about. But that's all the fanfiction I want to write at the moment. 

I have a sci-fi book I want to write, and one about superheroes. Which is also part horror story as well. And I want to republish my old book about Pirate, my first real character as a web serial. I've been meaning to do that after publish Volume 1. 

Alas, all these stories and more will NOT be on the poll, since I can barely keep up with one extra chapter per month! I just thought I'd mention that since...since...I have no good was to finish this explanation.
