January 2018 Side Stories Poll!
Added 2018-01-09 19:20:08 +0000 UTCI forgot to put this one up! Honestly, I'm not sure I want to write something super long this month since I had a week-long break. But I have promised to open up Tom, Geneva and the other stories...hrgh.
This month I'll offer a true side story, an adventure for one of our characters. It will be canon, and it will depict a battle they went through, a trip to a mystical dungeon, or fighting a monster in a cave. Or maybe they tripped and fell off a cliff. They might get something out of it, or have a story to tell when we get back to them.
Not everyone can get listed (Lake and Durene are out as are other characters who wouldn't have time for such thrilling side plots). But I'll open the floor so vote for the character you want to see most! The story could be sad or happy, and it could leave scars or give them something to smile about.
It's always something new. This should be fun to write! Thanks for supporting the story!

I think many of us are voting for Toren because the mysteries loom so large. We really don't know what's happened to him... I mean, obviously he survived but how? I think he's sneaking around the edges of the Wandering Inn and taking advantage of its magical aura. But if he's doing that, how has he avoided detection by all those gold rank adventurers? If Toren had showed up in the story lately and we knew a little bit more about him, I think Pisces would win! I, at least, and I think a lot of readers, respect him for his complex character: spurned, embittered, and yet still somewhat good somewhere underneath it all. And of course a freaking magical genius!
