Going Forwards and Flying Home

Hey there, this is a post to all the Patreon subscribers who've just subscribed and who are with me. Hi. Thanks for supporting me and The Wandering Inn! It means a lot.

This post is just going to be a general status update of how I plan to start rewarding/interacting on Patreon. Initially I had planned to not use this site and just have it as a way to help fund my writing, but me being silent when people are donating money seems wrong.

So--here's the plan. I'll be amending the rewards list, taking off most of hte silly ones (except for the $1 million dollar reward because you never know), and offering the follow incentives/rewards/things that I'm doing because:

$ 1 - Your name goes in the Guestbook, along will a silly/tragic/odd interaction which I'll write. You can request something, or to have a different name, but otherwise I'll just write you in.

$ 5 - I'll write something every month and you can vote on what that is. People who donate more than $5 might have more weight to their votes, but I don't want it to be a complete oligarchy if someone donates $500 each month. (But don't let that stop you if that's your thing.)

Anything higher than that I still haven't pinned down for a reward, but I'll try to think of something. I'm still not too keen on the Skype session/personal chat time reward, as that's a time commitment and not my thing, but options are open.

I'll get to amending the rewards and thinking up a list of stories for this month later. Right now I'm still travelling and writing this from a hotel so work motivation is low. I'm comitting to more writing this month, so we'll see how I hold up.

Anyways, I always value feedback, so if you have any suggestions, comments, questions, or ideas for stories, let me know. I'll try to keep the lines of communication open on Wordpress, Patreon, Reddit, Royal Road...and any other sites I start posting on.
