I have a 4080- but yeah.. It's a bit overkill- and 2080TI certainly more affordable. Compared to what you were using before- it'll certainly have a huge effect on rendering. depending on your current RAM- it would also be time for an upgrade there too. luckily they're quite cheap in comparison to the GPU.
