Honestly I'd save the OVA for a segway into the Super stories (I'm counting Battle Of Gods)

Wrath of The Dragon. I've never seen this one, but everyone knows this character. We're definitely not ready for the 2008 OVA.

Another Great DBZ Movie! Sure it's short, but still. Anyway, Next Time on Dragon Ball Z, it's an OVA Special that came out in 2008 in this Japan Exclusive Special, Japanese Dub, English Subtitles! Another movie down. A shorter but one it was pretty fun. I feel like I need to explain a good number of things what was going on. I'll try to explain to the best of my abilities. Apologies for the wall of text.
First off, placement: I believe this takes place in a what-if regality where Gotenks never screwed up and actually killed Buu. So Super Buu never absorbed anyone, Goku never came back to life, and Vegeta ends up disappearing forever, as you've seen. So yeah, probably a good thing Gotenks was so incompetent lol.
Janemba: That soul scrubber machine thingy you saw at the beginning is where bad souls go to be cleansed of their evil, as well as all memories of their lives. They go in, come out fully cleansed and ready for reincarnation. After that kid screwed up with the machine, all of the natural evils went into him and turned him into a physical manifestation of all that bad stuff. He's literally the Dragon Ball's version of the Devil, complete with dimensional breaking abilities. Also the creepy music is just a dub thing. One of the few musical changes I can appreciate. Janemba, of course, served as the core of everything that happened. So get rid of him, everything goes back to normal. Soul scrubber gets fixed, Kid most likely gets fired, and Vegeta's most likely reincarnated (again, What-If Movie).
Now for Gogeta: Fun fact, Gogeta predates Vegeto, Toriyama was originally gonna have Gogeta in the manga, but Toei beat him to it. They didn't even know. They just both thought of the idea. Toriyama didn't want to take away from the movie though, so he came up the the idea of the Potara Earrings and Vegeto. Something funny to think about every now and then. Gogeta's appearance was VERY brief but boy did it have a long lasting impact among the fanbase. One of his attacks is called Stardust Breaker, a fan favorite. It's meant to erase any and all evil energy it touches. Seeing as Janemba is made of entirely of evil and hatred, he ends up completely disintegrating. To top it all off. It just has pretty colors so I like it.
Ok that's all I can think of to talk about (anything important anyway). Next movie is called Wrath Of The Dragon, the final movie of the original 13. I think you might really like this one.
