2026-01-09 06:02:51 +0000 UTCI'm interested in your thoughts on the concept/subgenre of "toxic yuri" as it relates to your stories. its a category that seems to mean a lot of things to a lot of people, and i'm wondering if you have a perspective on it that informs your writing (or if it isn't a focal point, for that matter). deliberately open-ended question, i guess! but what drew me to TMGM in the first place is your purposeful invocation of yuri qua yuri and your earnest engagement with Rachel's characterization in a way that highlights how messy her relationships are, and it feels like FWD is doubling up on that tendency in a way that i'm excited to see.
