Book 1 Done, Two Week Break, Future Plans
Added 2025-09-03 22:33:31 +0000 UTCWe've reached the end of the first book of This Magical Girl is Mine. I have been pleased, delighted, and humbled by the amount of interest the story has gotten. I am also THIRSTY FOR MORE!! So, here's my immediate plans:
Patreon is taking a break for two weeks while I put some time into my super duper secret second project. I knew I needed a break like that after book 1, which was a big part of why I pushed through the regular RR break week to keep putting out chapters. So, TMGM book 2 will start uploading on the 21st of September, which is very ironic because that's the next RR break. They're just completely decoupled now, lmao.
Speaking of that second project, what's the deal with it? Well! I can't tell you yet. Because I'm not even done writing the first chapter and it's going to need to go through a round of heavy revisions like TMGM did, and I need to get character concepts sketched out from my artist, and yeah, basically, lot of work to go before I have anything presentable. But once it's ready for Patreon, I'll be uploading a couple of teaser chapters for free and then reorganizing the tiers to have the 5/5/8/20 split.
Book 1 has been a delight. I like writing these characters and I have tons of plans for book 2, most of which have been pretty clearly telegraphed in the last few chapters of book 1. I'm also getting a Striga/Sophia art piece that can be a poster and will be the back cover of book 1 when I do a proper edit and get it ready for ebook/paperback release, which will happen... eventually! No timetable.
