Remi said something like βthereβs no guarantee you wonβt kill me as soon as I tell you the location.β And we know Megumi isnβt opposed to killing people in the games if they double cross him, and it seems itβs already established that heβs stronger than her. I donβt think she can afford to lie and take him somewhere else. Unless she just takes her time and finds an opportunity to bolt. But I think Megumi would catch on or get too impatient and dip if she tried to stall for too long.

2026-02-13 13:33:18 +0000 UTCA short helpful NON-SPOILER recap: In the beginning of the episode, Kenjaku told Yuji's friend that he couldn't make the rules of the barrier so restrictive (because there has to be a give and take), that's why average people (non sorcerers) who were already in a colony when the culling game started are given the option to leave if they want, but this option is given to them only once. The other dude who talked to her after she woke up also said that everyone had the same dream, so the dream wasn't special treatment for Yuji's friends, it was for all non sorcerers. The only difference is that he told her "thanks for being friends with my son". On the other hand, as said by the girl with Megumi, Sorcerers who happened to be inside a colony when the culling game started did not have the option to leave. In other words, they automatically started as players, and have to show change in points in 19 days otherwise they'll get stripped away from their techniques (now we know this means death). Other sorcerers who did not start in a colony (like Megumi and the team) have to enter a colony to become players, and only from then onward the 19 days start to count. But it seems that Yuji is different because Kogane appeared to him (even though it only appears to players) before he enters a colony. Yuji speculated that it's because of Sukuna.
