I might be extending the series (maybe one more volume or so). It doesn’t feel right to rush the ending by cramming everything into a single book.

Lark is still really young in this body. With a memory of an existence that lasted I got the sense hundred hundreds or thousands of years? Yet he’s got the body of somebody in his 20s and the mindset of somebody that’s in the middle aged 30s 40s or 50s. At the very least, you would think the series would last long enough for his apparent age to catch up to the age of his mindset. The MC, side characters, and the world each certainly seemed to have enough depth for that to occur without running out of creative material. With this much to work with you could even have a team of authors writing off shooting arc books if you wanted, while you’re getting royalty income on all of it. Or just pop out a book whenever you felt like it years down the road just as a quick one off when you get bored - Piers Anthony style
