I couldn’t sleep after that.” Same guy who also said this about the the two before the movie came out: "Reze exits the story here. I like it when the protagonist and heroine don’t end up together and I want them to carry that weight forever. That's why I absolutely didn't want Denji and Reze to get together, or for Reze to become an ally.”

It bounced off a nearby tree, and I watched in slow motion as it spun towards my face. It landed, just perfectly, vertically against my eye socket, bouncing off harmlessly. It happened to be *exactly* the right length to hit the bone. Any shorter, and it still would've hit my eye, just on the blunt end. Same day that a walnut did the same think and conked me in the head, but that's less terrifying.

Best decision ever, it really is a different experience feeling that sound hit you hard during the peak moments. Chainsaw and Shark vs Typhoon gave me chills.

So they symbolism for them in the pool scene is Reze is the spider trapping Denji the butterfly to take him, but in her efforts to lure him in, she ends up falling in love for him as well. So while the spider traps and kills the butterfly, it dies as well, symbolizing that Reze ended up falling for Denji just as he fell for her.
