2026-02-05 03:09:58 +0000 UTCJust a hint for the subtitles: make bigger adjustments. The adjustment is in MILLISECONDS. If the subtitles are off enough for you to notice, I guarentee it's going to be >1 second (1000 milliseconds). Instead of going 100, 200, 300, etc., just go straight to 1000 and see if that makes it better, then straight to 2000, etc.

Steven Universe in general has a lot of good messages that are very hard to make work (which is what makes trying so noble, but sets a high bar that people often can't reach).

2026-02-03 00:25:45 +0000 UTCman. this one. i think it's a cute episode on its own, but like a week before it aired, trump was elected and nobody was in the mood for a "you gotta accept your racist uncle" message. it wasn't the show's fault, but what unfortunate timing. it's not a bad ep, i always like to see lapis and peri at the barn and i'll listen to carl from aqua teen hunger force any day of the week.

If they thought he was bad upon their first meeting, they would be shocked by how he was in the old days when he constantly butt heads with neighbours Shake, Frylock and Meatwad.
