At like 22, America (specifically the south) does NOT care what the reason is. They will fire you if they want and they know you can’t do crap about it. Even if the hotel knew Rita was pregnant there is no way for her to prove without a doubt they fired her because she was pregnant. So they can fire her with no punishment or fault. Even if Rita did try for a lawsuit they’d just push the date out until she’d give up because most Americans cannot afford constant lawyer fees

22:27 the term you are looking for is "At Will" jobs and florida is one of the states. They can fire you for any reason. You have to prove in court if discrimination or anything super unlawful and it is VERY hard to prove and win. and yes I work in a At Will state and it suuuuuuucks.
