But rose is literally thousands of years old so she probably wouldn't care that much about that sort of thing. (Even in the situation that a creep showed up she can literally wait out his lifespan) I guess it's really how it's perceived, like him saying that as a counter to what she said, yeah not that creepy but him literally meaning that despite only having met twice a bit creepy. Acknowledging that she is something literally out of this world and he is a man who searches for the universe does make it more logical of a claim though. He wants the stars and she's the brightest one he's ever seen.
