2025-11-16 02:40:47 +0000 UTCWhat makes me think this First is that the shark's name is Shock.Wav. which could be a little foreshadowing but is most likely just a pun. Second is his relation to baxter and how mechanized the shark is. We see in baxters flashback that he specializes in bio science and works with a young Vox later working for him and the Vees. We don't know exactly what baxter did for him but it makes me think their relationship and whatever baxter has done will have some importance. Third is Vox actually has gills. In episode 4 when he blows smoke in Alastor's face, smoke also blows out of the lines on his ribs that look like gills, additionally with his character being a total shark in every sense of the word kinda makes sense he'd have gills but could be a connection to Shock.wav. Fourth is his hypnotic abilities and the shark showing up in Vox Dei. In every instance we see of him using it he only ever uses one eye to create the spirals and it is interesting that the heavily mechanized shark also has a central mechanical eye. Its also interesting that Shock.Wav shows up for his Song Vox Dei which is all about him and what he will become with no other prominent allies of his showing up during the song though that could just be design choices. Another thing ive just noticed about this is during the song his electricity is shown sparking around him and Shock.Wav during the song and for a few frames after swinging from his cables his face glitches into a black and white version most likely his original face that i think we'll see more of when he loses his marbles in act 3.

2025-11-15 15:08:30 +0000 UTCA theory ive been seeing a little bit that the more i think of it the more i think it might be accurate is that there will be a big twist involving Vox and his shark being much more than just a pet. I think Vox either uses the shark to amplify his powers, he's put part of his body into it for some reason or is otherwise connected to it, Shock.Wav is more important than it seems and it fits with Vox's theme of over reliance on everything but himself.

2025-11-15 15:07:37 +0000 UTCThis was a much better episode than the previous one. Charlie finally regaining her brain and repairing the damage that she caused is cathartic. Angel Dust's song was absolutely perfect. The Vox twist was a little weak and unnecessary, but at least we get an interesting storyline out of it. There are a couple of mighty red death flags for Vaggie, with Lute promising to make Charlie pay for the death of her love and the sweet love song this episode. I hope it doesn't happen.
