Honestly, not a huge fan of Charlie. I get she's trying to do good, but she just doesn't learn her fucking lesson on boundaries and how to actually fucking listen to what people are saying.

I love that despite this, rooster still stayed loyal. What a man.

I guess what I mean is, is there truly a crime so bad that no amount of punishment could ever be enough to balance the scales (so to speak) Like I do think that there is a fair punishment for any crime, so should I not acknowledge that if someone faces an appropriate punishment they should then deserve a chance at redemption? Or maybe my point about punishments is wrong in the first place, it sounds so off to say it because it leads to the idea that people can commit crimes and get away with them, but the fundamental difference between that logic and my current logic is that the person in question wants redemption and isn't trying to weasel their way out of punishment. I think I've changed my mind on this (but to be honest it's still flimsy and I may change my opinion back) Redemption is something everyone deserves, I think that there isn't truly a crime that deserves eternal damnation, none at all. And while part of me still openly rejects this concept, redemption is above punishment in terms of prioritization.

Yeah this is a good progression, to be honest I thought they were going to put some horrible crime on sir pensious, but they were super kind on him, but actual murder now that's as step up in terms of what people consider forgivable. However the issue I see is that Charlie has a very hard ideology, and this is a show made in reality, real questions are going to be asked here, like should a rapist be given another chance or a pedophile or a dictator whose responsible for the deaths of millions. Perhaps at their most idealistic people can claim everyone deserves a chance at redemption, but I doubt many will have no line in the sand on what they consider unacceptable or beyond redemption. I for one while I'd like to believe in redemption for all do have lines that I for now cannot abide by people crossing. There are some crimes that to me are unforgivable. (Perhaps part of me can acknowledge that I should consider changing that not forgiving or letting those people's crimes go, but being open to allowing others to be redeemed if they actually choose it) This is probably not the right place for a philosophical essay so I'll end it here, but I need to think on this further cause I'm legitimately divided now on this.

This whole episode feels so contrived

KRAUS

Charlie is so well-done here. She's PAINFULLY horribly cringe, desperate and flailing, but also it's so easy to see in her behavior this season her dad's own failings. The two are a lot alike while being very distinct, and I don't often see that in shows.

I know we all have our thoughts on Charlie's manic episode but I just want to point out how good her character animation was this episode πŸ˜‚

Edgar Garcia

Something i really enjoy about the Vees is that they're not the usual villain team that constantly bickers and argues. The three of them get along quite well and seem to geniunely enjoy working together

Jacob Marley

They keep emphasizing how Angel Dust is the closest to being redeemed next which gives me the strong feeling it won't be. It might be Cherry or someone else.
