They wanted to showcase how much of a legend John Wick is by having these "fanboys". Don't forget he is still the most feared contract killer/assassin even though he was retired for five years. To provide more context to the end I would recommend you watch The Continental, a miniseries roughly 40 years in the past from the movies.

Joe: Rise of Cobra, and also the french soldier in Wonder Woman. It took me so long to realize it that I'm actually a little embarrassed. Also, The Elder, he got that drippy drip. Damn he fine in that getup.

The girls aren't branded, those are cross tattoos, John has the same one on his left arm too. The cross burning his tattoo means he's no longer a part of the Ruska Roma. Hence "You can never come home again."

2025-11-01 20:46:33 +0000 UTCThe reason for the big focus on the indonesian guys at the end is their notoriety from the cult classic action "The Raid" movies (even got their iconic karambits too!) and how this movie is really just a big celebration for action choreography and legendary stunt people (like Mark Damascos, Cecep + Yayan, etc).
