I think y’all were a bit much. Nothing you guys said was wrong… and yes the parents are the priority here. But I think we are absolutely disregarding the feelings of her here. Not concerning Alex really. But the weight of being basically alone in a town that is rallied against you and the thought of not being safe wherever you go. Vandalism happening to you and threats being made constantly. Issues with her aside her striving and need for any connection is very realistic. I wouldn’t categorize anything she does in this show to being a bad person. Just very troubled, traumatized and drowning in sorrow…and liquor

But on that same note, WHY ARE YOU BREAKING DOWN CRYING ABOUT LOSING YOUR KID IN A BAR!! Irresponsible behavior all around. Parents ain't immune to that just cause they lost their kid, hold em accountable.

It was like his subconscious was feeling something going on in the area, which is also why Gladis popped up in his dream, and Justine's dream. She was fucking with the energy in the area and people's subconsciousness were all feeling something was off. Idk, just my theory.

2025-10-16 05:51:23 +0000 UTCMy guess as to why the parents and the kids all struggled to recover from this is basically brain damage/trauma. Their brains were being forced to operate in such a non-standard way, for over a month for the kids, and probably 2 or 3 for the parents. Kids brains are resiliant enough that they could possibly recover from that kind of damage as they continue to grow, but the parents brains probably don't have much of a chance. Josh only had a few minutes of the brain control.

Nice Premise, but I could not relate in any kind with the Protagonist. Thats so weird. The movie had a similiar good reputation with the reviewers. I am only at min 28. But for now its a bummer. Maybe the movie is getting is turnaround

2025-10-06 20:31:24 +0000 UTCi feel like a lot of your anger towards Justine is simply "shes not talking the abuse, the parents emotions matter more!" as a striving parent and a father i see why youd think that but objectively thats not how life works. your kids missing doesn't give you any right to abuse or treat someone that you cant even suspect is involved do to no evidence like shit thats like adulting 101 i think Justine is still a bad person in her own right but her emotions are valid.
