The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

Comments

This was so much fun! I know these films may not have been super well-received by the fans, but I still really enjoy them. I hope you will watch The Rings of Power next. It takes place in the 2nd age ( The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings films are in the 3rd age) and explores the creation of the rings of power and Sauron's rise. Some fans will tell you it's bad, but a lot of people said the same about the Hobbit films! So you should definitely judge it for yourself! Thanks for the great reaction, Alicia!

Jackson Bertoncino

if this was based on norse mythology then Thorin would be literally turning into a dragon doing this

kingdedede bobo

now you know why he dint fuck with the other hobbits on hius birthday in lotr

Fun fact! The flag that was blown away by the wind was not planned! But Peter Jackson thought it fit the scene so much that he decided to use it for the movie!

Robert C. Dona

so fun fact another reason why it looks like a video game is it was filmed in 48 fps

Ah yes the battle of the five armies! On one side we have Men, Elfs, and Dwarfs; and on the other Orcs and... More Orcs!

Kawaii Edgelord

I love the fact that Galadriel basically spat in Sauron's face and ego reminding him he's just a lowly lacky. "Your master was the real threat, you aint shit!"

20:00 she has to go to the undying lads only elves and wizards and 3 lucky hibbits get to there

Thorin rolling off Azog like "Was that as good for you as it was for me?"

I said that in the discord, love those movies at least the first 4 with 1&2 being my favorite. If I had the money I'd pay for it to be on her list.

JosephBob

You got to watch tremors for some more worm movies

1:23:45 me: "RAM RANCH?! Oh she said ramp"

I still remember telling my parents one weekend I wanted to watch the whole hobbit trilogy at once and watched it with a couple bags of chips and two bottles of soda.

MetalHead 2241

Dain (pig riding dwarf) was CGI due to the actor, Billy Connolly having Parkinson's disease, he couldn't physically play Dain

Vegvisir92

the dwarf on the pig that you liked the voice of is Billy Connolly, a very famous Scottish comedian. In my opinion he is one of, if not the greatest comedians ever.

Graham Wilson

I've listened to the ending song so many times. "The Last Goodbye", sang by Billy Boyd, aka Pippin from LOTR. It's beautiful, it's emotional, and it's a last window showing how Bilbo felt about this entire adventure. Tolkien did a fantastic job writing these stories, and Peter Jackson brought them to life in an absolutely perfect way. Middle-Earth is one of the most influential fictional worlds ever created, and it's very easy to see why.
