Hey Alicia, to explain the counter to Hinata's super quick. At this point in time, he's still relying on Kageyama 100%, so he's still swinging with his eyes closed for the fast ones. He can't actually adapt to anything right now or do anything but just full send.

Ik lots of chatters were alr saying it, but the reason behind leaving his god-like broad attack unmarked is coz HE can ONLY hit it in ONE way. He closes his eyes and swings as hard as he can bcoz kageyama tosses directly to his impact zone. When u know there's only one option that he has, why not cover it like that? Also the exact reason why that triple block at the end worked, coz they knew hinata only has one way to hit so they covered it. Obviously in real volleyball this isn't something you'd expect, but given the info they know abt Hinata and how much that info has been harped on about I don't think it's a bad call
