Ok I was not expecting edgy Superman to be a key plot point in wholesome Superman show. I was expecting some references from the other shows and maybe a multiversal cameo from the dcau with how the multiverse works in the dc but not straight to evil sups Also it is abit strange to me why all their Clark’s are evil. There has only been a few popular evil Superman runs and most are because he lost Lois and it broke him. So abit strange to see evil supermen with Lois still alive and hunting him Also cool to see all the og lois’s And was that a weapon wall for classic anime weapons?!?

2025-09-09 19:06:19 +0000 UTCto be fair with that Lois, the other Lois won the pulitzer by writting about superman, and her superman shows up a few weeks ago. also, she did wrote the story about it but was robbed since she was an intern and the credit was put on 3 people, so no pulitzer for them, and on top of that, is the youngest lois to realize by herself that clark is superman, so she is actually better investigator than all of them together

The version voiced by Gilbert Godfrey (RIP) will forever be my favorite, but this one is definitely a close runner up.

Definitely recommend Superman: The Animated Series, as much as I liked MAWS I still very much prefer Superman Animated Series. Its art deco retro futuristic Metropolis, to its better depiction of its villians, definitely the weakest part of My Adventures. And of course the connections to a greater DC universe that build towards some really interesting things. All applies to Batman, New Batman Adventures, Static Shock, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. An interconnected Series of shows that build upon eachother with Superman Animated Series being part of this continuity.
