Kid sacrificed his entire crew to try and rematch the pirates that instantly defeated him. Kid's crew didn't even see Shanks. The Red Haired crew cut off Kid's arm and bodied his crew without their captain. He was then so horrified of Kaido he instantly became his slave like a dog. After all of that he decided "I haven't gotten stronger but I should rematch Shanks" and got his crew killed. He's a bad pirate, weak, and has a shit attitude. Apoo was unironically a better pirate And if you think barely defeating Big Mom is justification for fighting Shanks then you also think Shanks could one shot Big Mom.

2025-09-05 07:49:02 +0000 UTCTf you mean Law would smart his way around the fight. Law had gotten the same ego boost Kid had and then went and challenged an emperor. He has teleportation powers and a submarine that can evade even the navy on full look out (marineford) but he still took the fight with Blackbeard. If he had just taken down an emperor I can't bash him for thinking he can take another one. And he obviously has a vendetta against Shanks since this is the third time he tried to kill him (second was Apoo, Hawkins, Kid alliance). No one blames law for getting bodied by Doffy because of there history and I am certain we're soon gonna see Kid's history with Shanks. And either way it's not like he could even choose to get out of that fight even if he wanted to. He can't teleport away or hide underwater like Law and he's approaching an island swarming with crews loyal to Shanks. With his resources it'd be impossible to sneak past him and "Give up all your ponegliffs or fight me" isn't really a choice.
