So I just got my first copyright strike.

I'll start with what I just posted on Youtube: "Just got my first ever copyright strike despite the fact, as you can see, I only used the bottom of the video and no sound. That's crazy. I've deleted the other Detective Conan video and I will obviously never do another reaction to that series. F that show and that studio.

Now that I know I can be copyright struck for even using the bottom of a video I guess my channel could disappear at any moment. I've literally done thousands of videos like this one, so the hammer could drop any moment."

My question here is, do you know of any Youtube alternative that I can start using in conjunction with that hell site? I can resort to ... throws up in mouth ... Tiktok ... but that would be a desperation move. I think Nebula requires an invitation from somebody already there. I don't know much beyond that. I can do my own research obviously but if anybody has any ideas or knowledge that would be great.

Obviously I can continue operations here forever no problem, but I need a free site for a lot of what I do like Batman reactions, Lord El, and all the movies I do. Losing my two Youtube channels would make my life here a lot harder too. I need an alternative beyond just increasing my reach to new people.

So I just got my first copyright strike.

I hate it as much as you because i refuse to use Tiktok but i bet you wouldnt do half bad on tiktok. Look at how much views you get on your Youtube Shorts. And tiktok most definitely has more use than shorts on youtube. i also heard its more likely for someone to have a video blow up on tiktok so as long as you are active you would probably do well

Sad to hear you're probably not going to continue with Conan given it got you a strike xD I think if you only put it on Patreon it'd be fine. Toei entertainment are psychos who copyright strike everything Ashita no Joe related on youtube (even video essays without any clips!) but I've never seen them strike something off Patreon, for example. So if you uploaded Conan stuff to Patreon it should be fine, I think? As for free sites, Rumble and Oddysey seem cool? I would avoid Bitchute even though I like them because they're not available in the UK. they're refusing to comply with the UK gov's data sharing laws. All 3 sites are mostly home to political content that's too spicy for youtube, but I'm sure they'd be fine with anime content too.
