Most of the rest of the reaction is good but don’t get how Alicia was complaining about the tracksuit mafia didn’t have guns when just a few mins before she got so excited about the electromagnet arrows, that worked on the poles around the ice rink, taking the guns away from them. With Fisk, you should use the rule of if you don’t see it.

2025-08-19 23:12:51 +0000 UTCSo I don't know what happens with the Kingpin and I don't want to know. People who spoil things are the worst kind of people. I had a vision of how I would do that ending and I wanted to share it. So Kingpin is walking down the alley before Maya pulls around and stops to get out. She confronts the Kingpin and then starts shooting him. You see the shooting from just behind Kingpin and get worried he might be killed. Then it cuts to his just standing there and looking at her like "You get it out of your system?" She flips him off and drives away. Kingpin continues to walk down the alleyway sighing and saying something akin to "what a night.." Now I know Kingpin isn't bulletproof, but he does often have armor on. So that might explain why it wouldn't phase him.

He also wanted to get rid of the shady people Kate's mom was indebted to. He's only viewed as a "bad guy" in the first 3 eps because Kate is biased against him and her mom used him as a scapegoat in ep 3 or 4. Yelena was shown to have a mission to kill Clint Barton in Black Widow, but she didn't like that movie so maybe she just erased it from her mind. Kate's mom threatening Kingpin was a desperate last resort. I wouldn't really call it stupid, since in her mind the results were either her daughter is killed, Kingpin agrees to stop, or Kate and her mother both die. She was aware Kingpin's thugs were targeting Kate and Clint, and that Kate was following Clint because she idolized him and wanted to do right by him. If Kingpin had just said he's not going to target Kate anymore, she'd have no reason to keep going. As Kingpin said, Kate's mom continued working with him initially because it was lucrative. So her options were to either convince Kate to stop working with Clint, stop Kingpin from targeting Kate (releasing the info), or force Clint to stop working with Kate (killing him). I also don't get why she was so biased against Kate's mom. Like I get she's technically a bad guy, but Alicia scrutinized every decision she made. She said it was fucked up to bring up Natasha, but that's exactly what Clint is thinking throughout most of the show even without her saying it. She's absolutely right to say it since its concerning her daughter's safety. Even if Clint's right in that Kate is talented enough to be a superhero, it's still irresponsible of him to bring her along. He's aware of it, but he still convinced by circumstance or convenience to bring Kate along. So of course her Mom is mad. Hawkeye got rid of the guns with the manget trick arrow. Alicia commented on the magnet, and it caused the thugs to rush Kate and Clint physically, then Alicia complained that it was unrealistic for the lack of guns. Must have dissociated. She was sus of Jack the whole show, and that's understandable for the first few episodes, but after 5 she checked out and just hated him for no reason lmfao. They said Clint's wife's watch belonged to "someone retired who used to work with him" and that it would expose their identity because their name was written on the front. Think it was in ep 4. This is means Clint's wife was an agent of shield. Kingpin being shot doesn't mean he's dead. Like, this can't be the first time people have seen an intentionally obscured gunshot in media. Most people's first reaction (from what I remember when Hawkeye came out) was that the next series was about Kingpin since that scene didn't show what happened. No one cared about the gunshot because it's Kingpin and they didn't show it. Literally the first reaction I've seen where someone thought he was dead.

It connects with the movies as well, starts after the first Avengers. Stars Ming Na Wen (aka Mulan). Highly recommended.

Marrying Eleanor was just something he wanted to do, because he liked her. Granted, he wasn't going to work regardless, because he is quite literally spoiled rich, but he wasn't marrying for money. Even earlier in ep 1 when he was talking about inheriting money, he was being a dick to his rich and old uncle whose money he was spending, not Eleanor's.
