From looking it up, the name of the ghost you were talking about was Melody Pianissima. I think I had a minor crush on her when I was younger, but it's been a long time since then.

2025-08-17 03:44:54 +0000 UTCMy two cents on Turbo Granny: I don't think we anime viewers have enough information to definitely say one way or another what her morality truly is. That said, I think there's enough evidence to suggest she is at least not totally malevolent. She fused with the Location Bound Spirit over a desire to protect and avenge the souls of the girls who had been violated and killed in the tunnel, and it seemed to me fairly obvious she helped Momo out when she was being assaulted by members of the Kito family at the hot spring. It remains to be seen if stuff like threatening Seiko and Momo was just bluster and if any of the help she's lent the crew is anything more than serving her own interests.

I questioned a lot of my life choices, just... breathed and reconsidered everything for a moment, then went back to reading. I remember it viscerally. XD

2025-08-15 16:44:40 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite details in this episode, is how Momo said, that she holds his hand because it's cold. When they come back, their hands are freezing. So they obviously didn't hold hands the entire way home because it's cold, they held hands the entire time *despite* it being freezing cold outside. They endured that shit to maximize hand-holding time.
