I dont think this is one of the worst movies or one of the greatest i think its just good. I have 2 main issues with the film. the introduction of the witch was a little out of nowhere and should have been a little sooner. secondly the last scene of the film feels so absurd and funny. i dont know how i should feel about it. Should i be laughing? Does it fit the tone of the movie?

Obviously the witch ordered them to use the forks in that scene, but maybe if they don't get specific orders they just use their hands. The movie isn't clear though that's true

2025-09-30 01:23:52 +0000 UTCoh I'll give some reasons to hate on this movie. So Paul walks into the house with a shotgun after arresting the junkie and then he gets turned. Where did the shotgun go? When they're trying to kill they use bare hands because obviously they don't have a gun (and the fork scene shows they are capable of using weapons) except Paul doesn't use the pistol he has for no explainable reason. All of Paul's chapter could be removed from the movie and the movie doesn't suffer at all as everything revealed in it that refers to the kids also is revealed in the junkie's chapter. So this movie could have been an hour 40 but they decided showing you this fuck ass cop was more important. it's like they wanted a movie that had interconnected plots like Magnolia so badly they forgot they were making a movie with an actual central story. "based on a true story" btw
