While I like Zeldris more than Ludociel, Merlin stalling Zeldris the way she did knowing Ludociel was about to strike was pretty awesome- if you didn’t remember, we saw that Ludociel (now in Margaret’s body) was kind of a dick when Diane and King went through their trial- at least the other archangels, Tarmiel and Sariel (who have also now manifested in borrowed bodies), switched up to support Elizabeth against Ludociel when she was trying to help Derieri and Monspeet 3000 years ago
