As you brought up in your podcast, this season is decidedly darker with a lot less comedy- I hated that they killed off Gloxinia and Drole only for Chandler to immediately catch back up to them and take Meliodas, their deaths felt wasted. I think when I first watched, that line that Meliodas said to Hawk didn’t make much sense, I just kept watching to get the explanation
