Meliodas did level Danafall when his rage overtook him- the next few episodes will give more details on the state Danafall was already in when that happened- and I would say King is technically guilty, but his amnesia is a strong extenuating circumstance- but yeah, overall the “sins” were mostly false or misconstrued

2025-05-11 02:18:53 +0000 UTCMaybe youre noticing a pattern with the seven deadly sins, each one of them was falsely accused of commiting a grave crime of one of the seven deadly sins. Gowther (Lust) was accused for murdering Nadia when all he really did was try to put his heart inside her already dead body. Meliodas(Wrath) was accused of nuking Danafall out of wrath when it was just the giant purple demon that did it 20 years ago. Ban(Greed) was accused of drinking all of the holy water that grant eternal life when it was just his girlfriend that forced him to drink it. King(Sloth) was accused for abandoning the fairy forest when he was just chasing after another fairy before losing his memories. Diane(Envy) was accused of killing Matrona out of envy when it was just bunch of humans setting up a trap, and later we found out Matrona was alive the whole time. I think they havent shown the flashbacks for Merlin(Gluttony) and Escanor(Pride) yet, though I might be wrong.

2025-05-11 00:34:36 +0000 UTCI think the guards charging in to Nadia’s room was believable- the noise they heard coming from her room was Gowther crying out (which didn’t sound like her and thus would be suspicious), and as you said, what they saw looked really bad
