One more interesting note, Gloxinia’s explanation about how King and Diane’s trial worked also explains the trial Meliodas went through last season to get his power back- in Meliodas’s case, he was sent back into his own past body and relived his experiences in Danafall leading up to when he destroyed it- he relived it over and over in a loop until he was able to make a different choice and stop himself from being overtaken by rage and destroying Danafall (Zaneri the Druid Priestess recited the same or a very similar spell to the one Gloxinia did that sent King and Diane to the past)

2025-05-04 12:19:30 +0000 UTCIn the present, I think Gerheade does have wings (maybe if they weren’t completely taken off, they’re able to eventually heal), but she doesn’t have legs- also, weirdly, King and Elaine can fly even though they still haven’t sprouted wings- maybe it’s just easier to fly with wings, but still possible without?
