Also, maybe if the message doesn't cause any changes, the time doesn't diverges like in the message they sent - nothing changed.

2025-04-11 09:14:37 +0000 UTCTitor had an explanation of how the time travel "works" I think. Basically, when they send a message, their reality stays unchanged(they never received it) but the time diverges and a new timeline where the message was received starts at the point when it was received.
