Looking forward to seeing your reaction to the next batch of episodes this Friday, your time (Saturday my time). The first half of this season feels incredibly hit or miss, with the first season of Justice League the writers were trying to find their footing and find what works and what doesn't and that very well is the case with JLU season 1. The latter half is much better by comparison, they found a direction for the show, or they found their voice and the second season continues that momentum.

He is best known for contributing to building the modern DC Comics animated franchise, most notably as the head producer behind Batman: The Animated Series (1992–1995), Superman: The Animated Series (1996–2000), The New Batman Adventures (1997–1999), Batman Beyond (1999–2001), Justice League (2001–2004), and Justice League Unlimited (2004–2006). He's known for producing character designs for a majority of the characters on these shows. With the exception of a few characters, he designed the entire cast of Batman: TAS and worked with James Tucker to produce designs for Superman: TAS and Justice League. He also did occasional voice work to save time and money. He'd do minor characters such as the Mad Bomber from the B: TAS The Grey Ghost where Adam West voiced a fictional actor who played the character on the TV show that Bruce Wayne watched as a child and partially inspired him to become Batman. He'd also voice Booster Gold, a time travelling hero and Member of the Justice League in the animated movie Batman & Harley Quinn. and Two Face as a cameo in Justice League vs The Fatal Five (2019) replacing the late Richard Moll who would've retired around that time before passing in 2023. He also co-created Freakazoid! (1995–1997) alongside Paul Dini. Part of the reason why he worked on Superman: TAS is because of his negative experience working with Steven Spielberg on Freakazoid. Originally Timm wanted to create a more conventional and relatively serious superhero show while Spielberg wanted to make a comedy show, they eventually went with Spielberg's vision. Around that time WB was trying to get a Superman animated series off the ground. It wasn't initially meant to connect with Batman: TAS until Timm and Dini signed on to the project and the idea of it sharing a universe with B: TAS developed organically. After Justice League Unlimited ended he went on to write and produce various DC animated films and eventually develop the unrelated Green Lantern: TAS (2012-2013).
