2024-11-18 02:25:31 +0000 UTCThere's a surprising number of female manga writers, you just haven't been recommended many works by them for w/e reason (the ones I can think of tend to be comedies and you haven't been recommended many comedy manga, maybe that's it?). The author of the novel this anime is based on is anonymous so we don't know if this was written by a guy or a girl, though the director and writer of the anime were both guys.
