And thanks for requesting this one I'll be watching his reactions too but definitely finish yu yu hakasho one day it does get really good I'm not sure where you stopped in the anime but I liked one of the arcs more than even the ant arc from hunter x hunter togashi is the best at setting expectations extremely low then not only exceed expectations but go way beyond that you have seen that yourself in hunter x hunter going from something as basic as the hunter exam to the ant arc

2024-10-26 02:48:09 +0000 UTCI'll definitely be watching these reactions too me and I think Ariel have talked about this anime a few other times in comments Netflix did a good job with this anime unfortunately tho they got a new animation studio starting in season 3 and it was so bad that I stopped watching it but it will be interesting to see what you think about it when you get that far I really enjoyed the first two seasons

2024-10-25 22:26:13 +0000 UTCAlso, to clarify- I didn’t say the sexual assault would stop after episode 4, just that it happens less often as the series goes on- I was doing a rewatch a while back, and was a bit into season 2, and just as I was thinking that maybe it didn’t happen anymore at that point because it hadn’t happened in a while, there it was again lol

2024-10-25 21:36:32 +0000 UTCThere are men and women who are knights in this world, so I’m sure they had to assume Elizabeth was the knight because she was suspiciously running away from them- and I’m guessing that Meliodas doesn’t look like the wanted picture because whoever drew it was taking into account him being ten years older now- they might have assumed back then (just like people do now) that he was a teenager, and that he should be and look like his late 20s/close to 30 now

2024-10-25 21:34:03 +0000 UTCI’m not sure why you can’t believe that a sword could be used to channel and direct magic attacks- they do it in quite a few anime, where swinging the sword sends powerful magic and/or wind towards their target- you chalk a lot of other things up to magic, so why not this lol- I’m editing this to add that I also thought it was a little bit of an odd thing to use a sword that way when I first encountered it, but once I was used to it in that anime, I haven’t even batted an eye when it happens in others haha

2024-10-25 21:30:45 +0000 UTCThe kid in the opening scene was one of the soldiers who came looking for the rust knight ten years later- the one named Allioni who went over the cliff and was saved- he also was talking about seeing what the sins did ten years ago first hand- the kingdom is rather large, so the other knights that all seem older than him were probably all stationed outside of the capital where the incident took place, and it’s been long enough and with none of the sins captured, it makes sense to me that many would think things were exaggerated if they didn’t see it for themselves

2024-10-25 21:28:02 +0000 UTCI’m so glad your version isn’t with the closed captions- I’ve seen reactors get spoiled by them- for instance this first episode, the Netflix captions identify him as Meliodas in the bar before the rust knight/Elizabeth even arrives- so when the customers start talking about the captain of the sins Meliodas being the scariest, they already know that he’s right there smh
