Tier 1 Nominations

Monster has a couple months left but I will have finished watching it well before that so I'll be ready to start new stuff soon. Normally I'd go back to the old posts and comb through what was nominated back then but there's been a lot of turnover so let's start with a clean slate. You can nominate any animated show you want even if its failed previous votes.

I want nominations in the following categories (please label your nomination accordingly):

Animated Movies

Animated series with 12 episodes or fewer (label A)

Animated series with 13-30 episodes (label B)

Animated series with 31-50 episodes (label C)

Animated series with 51-100 episodes (label D)

We'll do a poll in each category and I'll alternate through the winners for the next year or so.

If I get far enough ahead on everything I'll mix in an extra series or movie for this tier since it doesn't get much love. Today I'm officially a month ahead on Tier 3 and I'm several weeks ahead on Tier 1 so this is becoming doable. We'll see.

I added Justice League/Unlimited to the D poll. The reason being if it wins then you could produce by edited and full reactions so you would upload the edited videos to your YouTube channel since edited reaction vids will probably perform better than full reaction vids.

In regard to Ghibli films, I don't really mind either way if its subs or dubs. However, I think I'd prefer if you watch ghost in the Shell in subs instead of dubs.

Alice Flagg

Sub or dub.

Alice Flagg

Would you like Deter to watch the shows in sub or dub?

Alice Flagg

Witch Blade ... is that from the same comics source as the 25 year old live action series of the same name? Because I really liked that.

Dexter Goad

I think the last Disney animated movie I saw was Frozen 2. I might be missing one or two but I've generally avoided them the past decade.

Dexter Goad

If this is suggestion topic, Animated Movie: Made in Abyss Movie 1: Tabidachi no Yoake. B: Witch Blade(24 ep). B: Full Metal Panic!(24 ep). B: JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken(25 ep first season).

Barracuda

Love Baccano!. If that show wins, I'm hoping Dexter watches the dub.

Alice Flagg

I love Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated and only the first season of Clone High.

C: Blue Exorcist- I don’t know the chances of this getting voted in, but if by chance it does, skip episodes 18-25 of season 1, they’re filler (or watch them later), plus season 2/Kyoto Saga picks up pretty much where episode 17 leaves off, so it would get confusing/disorienting- like Jujutsu Kaisen, it seems to have some Naruto/Hunter influences, but it’s not as popular as JJK

Ariel

As far as movies, there is one to watch with the Violet Evergarden series- also, I’m not sure if you watch anything Disney on your own time, but I recently watched Encanto and my granddaughter is obsessed with it- it came out in 2021 so it’s pretty recent, and I think it’s really good- it’s heavy on music (which is top notch by Lin-Manuel Miranda who also worked on Hamilton), but the story is great as well, not the typical “Disney Princess” kind of story, which I think they’ve gotten away from in recent years anyway

Ariel

Label B: Frieren - Beyond Journey's End (28 eps)

Nakib

B: 86 B: Frieren- Beyond Journey’s End B: Apothecary Diaries B: Horimiya D: Demon Slayer C: Steins Gate/Steins Gate 0 B: Summertime Rendering B: Violet Evergarden

Label B: Welcome to the N.H.K. (24Episodes) Label B: Baccano! (13Episode and 3 Bonus) Label B: Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (25 Episodes) Label D: Full Metal Panic! (dont wanna add up :D) some watches i had fun with back in the day. and too Full Metal Panic! doesnt exist a reaction i believe or atleast i could not find any on the Original show.
