2024-08-30 02:20:52 +0000 UTCThis movie takes place between seasons 2 and 3 (just before the training camp where Bakugo was kidnapped), so the kids still have a lot of training/powering up compared to where we see them in say season 5 when they faced class B- so Uraraka and Creati for instance have lower limits on how much they can use their quirks at this point- and Midoriya was only able to go all out because of the “gauntlet” Melissa gave him
