My thing with her age was how she carries herself and her status. I find it hard to believe that the press and authority figures would treat her with the respect seen if she was underage, so I assumed 20s or probably 30s. 18 is pushing it for me so it must be a strong family name

2024-08-05 10:51:29 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if Joe was meant to be cool, but Japanese audiences at the time did seem to find him cool. "She's clearly in her 20s and he's underage" - I thought you learned that it's impossible to tell an anime character's age by how they look by now xD I can't tell myself so I had to google it. She's apparently 18 at this point in the show, and he's 15 (revealed in this episode) so she's not as old as she looks. Nishi is supposed to be the same age as Joe too, another hard one to tell the age of!
