I've been keeping up with the reddit posts for each episode and apparently this is explained in the manga, but they didn't give details because it might still get explained in the anime too. So we'll see. But I would imagine it's probably something as simple as people jumping to conclusions. They have different last names so why would you look any further into it? We'll see. As far as the English version, I saw that the first two episodes are in English so I was planning to do a rewatch of Episode 2 in English and will post it with Episode 3 on Sunday youtube. I'm hoping the sister has a good VO actor

2024-07-26 03:30:12 +0000 UTCI just checked out the first 2 episodes in English, I think they did pretty good with it, the VA for Alya is actually Russian-American- and for Masachika/Kuze, it’s the same VA as the president from Kaguya lol. I gotta say, even though it makes for good dramatic shenanigans, so far for me, the biggest stretch of disbelief is the fact that Kuze and Suou have been at the same school up until now and are hiding the fact that they are siblings for some reason- you would think that even though they’re living separately and have different last names, someone in school- shared friends, classmates, etc- would have found out or figured out they’re related, unless there’s a pretty damn good reason to keep it a secret
