Quick Update

I just wanted to mention that I've noticed that I am no longer getting any notifications for anything ... new signups, messages, comments ... nothing. I keep busy so the notifications were the only thing keeping me on top of people interacting with me. Today, for instance, I'm about to start recording Naruto and I'll either be recording, editing, or uploading (sometimes recorded while uploading) so that's me busy wall to wall all day long. Without notifications I might not remember to manually check to see if anybody commented or messaged.
So just have a little more patience than usual and hopefully either this gets fixed with the next ... "update" ... or I train myself to manually check every few hours.

And it looks like they changed the app again smh- either that or my wifi is being funky lol

2024-06-23 18:44:14 +0000 UTCI kinda hate the constant changes ngl. it's all part of this "ipadification of the web" with the round edged monochrome buttons and single centered scrollable feed with 70% of the screen left blank. we see this even with logos that turn into oversimplified blobby things. very little color. all white, black and gray shapes, etc. even names reflect this trend to be edgy and bare. facebook became meta and twitter became X. it sucks but it's only a trend of the current internet. and yes on top of the modernization of the UI, notifications are broken.
