I really enjoyed this and Spall knocked it out of the park. I can't help but feel without having seen all of the movies that he got cheated out of an Oscar nomination at least. He won some other awards for it. And the plot was kind of dull at times, I agree, but actually I would prefer that they kept it true to his life as opposed to inventing some sort of fake conflict.
