I’m pretty sure this was the first episode (17) that we heard the name Knives, though Vash was probably referring to him on occasion, just saying “is it him?” or things like that- probably suspecting that Legato and the Gung-ho Guns as this group coming after him are calling themselves are working for him- and this is our first time seeing him (except in a short flash an episode or two back I think)
