Trigun Early Episodes 13 and 14

In honor of the clip show, here are some things I've said in past Trigun reactions.

"I like Millie."

"He's about ten inches deep at this point."

"There's no way this is the real Vash."

"This kid is going to hell."

Yeah, it feels to me like they must have assumed most people would have already watched this version, so thought that the mystery would be pointless- it does lend to moving the plot faster, and the 3d is cool for the action sequences, but it feels less about getting to know the characters (which is the charm of this one imo) and more about the action

My main problem with Stampede is that all the mystery is gone, everything about Vash's past is revealed in the very first scene.

I kind of figured they were related because of the parallel of the old man riding the kid and now the girl riding her mother. It makes sense to have such large offspring if one of the two parents is huge. But it's nice to have confirmation

Dexter Goad

That's true. LOL

Also, if you didn’t hear the last name of the group with the large woman or forgot/didn’t catch the name of the big guy and his father in episode 5, you probably wouldn’t connect on first watch that they are the same family- the Nebraska family- the girl on “Mom’s” shoulder said something about her father and little brother’s bail riding on I assume their success in helping Morgan take the land from this old couple

Ariel

Shutting down the spaceship is certainly remarkable and interesting, but I found the fact that he stopped that plant from exploding or melting down or whatever was going to happen in episode 6 far more intriguing personally

Now you know how Vash survived in episode 9 when Wolfwood ran out of bullets- he had an ace up his sleeve- or more specifically and literally a gun up his sleeve lol

Ariel

I thought about telling you that episode 13 was mostly a recap, but since I figured it was worth watching anyway I didn’t see much point
