I don't think it will matter because the dude's body wasn't found there. So its not a crime scene.

2024-05-24 09:17:19 +0000 UTCI don't think its a coincidence. I didn't talk a lot about this twist during my reactions so I'll talk here. I think Cobel is making a lot of these decisions on her own so we can chalk it up to whatever her personal obsessions are. She's obsessed with the founder of the company, she's obsessed with Mark. I wonder if there's a connection there? I wonder if the company is experimenting with Technological Reincarnation? If they've seeded dozens of babies or even adults with some technological version of the mind of their great leader in an attempt to bring him back. Maybe Cobel thinks Mark is the success? This is tin foil territory but we just don't get enough in season one to understand her motivations. She's all over the place. One minute she's telling Mark to quit his job, the next she's snitching him out when she finds out his Innie is out. She's hard to read.

I don't know how I feel about this twist, it seems pretty nonsensical that Mark's deceased wife is coincidentally the therapist that's had regular contact with Mark. This begs the question if Lumin knows and if so, why would they allow regular contact with Mark, wouldn't that just compromise the program? And why would they go through the trouble of faking her death and having her secretly work for Lumin as a severed employee when they could just employ her the conventional way lie Mark? I guess this is supposed to indicate the either mark or his wife are really important to Lumin. I'm curious to hear you elaborate on your thoughts about the twist.

2024-05-23 20:07:29 +0000 UTCDo you think that Mark vomiting outside of the murder site will crop up in a later episode or do you think that this is something that we're not supposed to think too much of it? They went out of their way to establish that extracting DNA from vomit is a possibility but on the other hand it could just signify that this is an intense situation.
