ANIME OP PROJECT - Things Anime Openings Love To Do

Aloha, Amy, and I are hard at work at our main Best Anime Openings of All Time project. The blocking is mostly done and the full video will be somewhere around 70 minutes long. This project has basically turned into a video essay. I'm quite proud of how it's coming along!
Amy and I have two thousand hours worth of anime-opening-pinions at this point, so when the video launches we'll be putting out a lot of extra Patreon-exclusive content alongside its release.
First off is this! A look into some things we noticed that many, many, many anime openings do. In typical Me fashion, I spent too much time making this look nice, so I hope you enjoy it! This is not comprehensive by any means, I just tried to gather around 1-2 minutes of examples from each thing to show how often they happen.
The main video will have custom art from FlareGunCalamity, who you can often see in the audience of our streams yelling at me about rocks.
I don't have any kind of ETA on this video as this month is very busy for us. Amy and I literally just sent a new lease application for a place in Canada in the last ten minutes and if we get it (๐ค) then I'll be spending a lot of time flying back and forth and moving furniture from LA across the border. Also we'll need to decorate our new place and I don't want to spend all my time working before Amy starts school in September.

I predicted that Women Crying would have a Black Clover inclusion, but I thought it was gonna be Noelle crying rather than Secre. I vaguely remember her moping dramatically across multiple OPs in the anime's run.
