Important announcement: saving Weight Gaming

As many of you already know, the Weight Gaming forum is on the verge of shutting down due to rising costs that our admin, Grot, can no longer shoulder alone. Some of you also know that I’ve been working closely with him to try and prevent our beloved weight gain games community from disappearing.

I’ve stepped forward as a benefactor, committing to contribute a substantial amount every month to help keep Weight Gaming alive. However, the sum required turned out to be much higher than we initially expected—around $2,400 USD each month—which I will partially cover with my own donations.

In light of this, I’m offering you, my patrons, a way to directly support the forum through my Patreon. To do that, I’m opening two new subscription tiers.

Tier 1: Commissioner

The Commissioner tier will give you a monthly ~10,000-character weight gain story written by me personally—no AI, no ghostwriters, just me and my wonderfully morbid imagination.

You’ll be able to commission a story featuring:

• Your original characters

• Characters from other media

• Or, of course, characters from Fatgeria itself

Tier 2: Epic Commissioner

The Epic Commissioner tier includes everything from the Commissioner tier plus an artwork sketch from our artist.

She’s genuinely talented, and getting a custom sketch from her for only an extra $50 is, in my opinion, an absolute steal. Here is an example of one of her sketches:

Why am I doing this?

Because Weight Gaming means the world to me.

Before I found this community, my game was just another forgotten title buried at the bottom of Steam—maybe 50 purchases and about $150 in revenue. No community. No conversations. Not even criticism. It was like the game didn’t exist.

Here, everything changed.

I found:

• A player base

• Heated discussions and honest feedback

• Fan art and creativity

• A feeling that what I make actually matters to someone

Without Weight Gaming, I am, in a very real sense, nothing. I’m not a creator, not a writer, not an artist—I’m just a speck of dust, unseen and forgotten.

I don’t want anyone else to feel that way, and I don’t want this community to vanish. You, the players, would lose so much: new games, a place to voice your opinions, and direct access to the creators you enjoy.

I am deeply grateful to all of you for your support so far. If helping you, and helping Weight Gaming, means I end up writing a hundred thousand characters of story every month, then so be it.
