"Bombastic Soda Bet" - Inflation/Popping

During the 15-inning game against the Tigers a while back, I joked with a friend about writing a story where a moose and a tiger chugged soda equal to the innings of the game, with the inevitable loser bursting. Well, I finally got around to writing that story! As with most of my stories, the bad ends are permanent!
Morse and Hawes make a soda drinking bet that quickly balloons out of control.
