Ohh my gosh, my face was red the entire time reading this chapter, it might be the best so far! The mental image of this little catastrophe is so good. The party just wandering around a mini-disaster zone that is the holy sanctuary in dreadful silence, shuffling around former guards and servants with boulder sized bellies, round sloshing orbs grinning stupidly; that drunken loaf of a bear giving the vibe of a mortally wounded warrior left on a battlefield. The divine magic in the air threatening the party like walking through a radioactive zone. (Also special shoutout to mentions of a round kangaroo β€οΈ (...and wondering if you were implying Mira was sweet on Hershel, which would be a cute little touch of characterization for her), though I am very biased with my love of fat roos) I'm deeply curious what'll happen next, will the survivors who avoided becoming complete euphoria dazed blimps stay giggly n' puffy or shrink back down after digesting their injuries (in which case we better see that bear again π), how will they take care of so many orbs, and who is Conway going to pop to get a lead on a guy that isn't a shady criminal...

The verbosity of his descriptions of orbs and stuffed guts, plus never forgetting the little emotional touches, makes even the wildest kink idea approachable.
