Juuuust enough doubt to rationalize Webbs (untimely?) demise... I might be a smidge biased, but I thoroughly enjoyed Oscar being stuck in SOME state of blimpish inebriation. That feel is REAL if you've ever been imbibing and had to suddenly sober up. But in the back of your mind that lil pleasure is always there. The themes of cognitive dissonance between blowing up and getting BLOWN UP are deliciously devilish. Not sure what it says about me that reading this has put me in the mood to go to Camp Feral. If only I could stay puffed up for my entire stay <<;;;

2024-03-18 22:42:24 +0000 UTCMm, very somber, I like it. Really made Able's connection with Webb more clear. Also makes him a good contender for "final girl" if there is to be such a thing in this fic. I adore Kevin for his kinky personality, but those sinister interests + hardass attitude make him so likely to get popped. + he's a elk, so how could you resist. Dante survived the first attempt on him, which increases his odds a little, but me'thinks the boy enjoys inflation a wee too much to survive. Burg and Blake are, well fodder. Cute fodder. Oscar feels like he's got a chance, but all those fears of popping feel like foreshadowing. Cody also has strong final girl energy but I can't imagine you'd introduce a small bratty catboy and not pop him lol.
