"The Mana Vessel: Chapter 01" - Inflation
Added 2023-08-04 20:43:07 +0000 UTCHere's the 1st chapter of my new serialized inflation novella, "The Mana Vessel". It's a fantasy story about a cleric who is willingly filled with mana during a ritual, and the ordeal that ensues.
As I mentioned before, the focus will be inflation, and include air, water, and mana inflation predominantly. Berry inflation will also be referenced. There will be implied popping, and several references to it as something that can simply happen in the setting. Characters do not re-form.
The first chapter will be available to patrons and the public alike, while all following chapters will be patron-only. A final edit of the novella will be published at a later date. The story should be 16 chapters total.
Hest, an initiate cleric of the Order of Avmis, takes part in a ritual to become a mana vessel for the first time.
